Convocation Youth Retreat

Event Details

Youth in Southern Ohio have a special opportunity to engage with the Diocese’s Beloved Community learning theme at Convocation in May. Youth in 6-12th grades are invited to Procter Friday, May 10th for a one night retreat before attending Convocation on Saturday.

Convocation Youth Retreat is an opportunity to meet youth from other churches, have fellowship and fun, grow and learn together about the Becoming Beloved Community project. Leaders from Beloved Beloved Community will join us for a workshop Friday night. We’ll have time to sing and make music, play games and eat snacks, and have a campfire. Saturday morning folks from across the Diocese will arrive at Procter to take part in Convocation. Youth will be able to fully engage in the Convocation day, attending speakers and workshops together, as well as volunteer in the family formation area, or other tents if they choose. There will be a “Youth Tent,” a specific place for youth to hang out and be together during the day of Convocation.

Cost is $50, scholarship is available!
