Summer of 2019, Procter Center had the privilege of providing 111 campers a scholarship, or Campership as we call it. The Campership program is 100% funded by donations. Please consider donating to the Campership Fund. Our goal is to provide Camperships to 120 campers in 2020. Your support will help us reach our goal! If you wish, you may make the contribution in honor or memory of a loved one. Thank you for helping a child and family know the joy of summer camp.
Our six-acre farm is used for educational purposes, for our campers and guests, and also subsidizes the Procter Center Kitchen. We also sell our produce, pork, chicken and eggs at farmers markets, and package weekly CSAs. In order to carry out our mission of providing all levels of society with fresh, local vegetables and meats, we must have the staff to help us. Each summer, we hire two to three interns, who learn quality control, marketing, time management, collaborative problem solving, and more. Please consider donating to Procter Center Farm, so that we may continue to ensure that people of the greater Columbus area get farm fresh vegetables, and that our campers can continue to learn the in’s and out’s of growing food.
Donate today by making a check to Procter Center, or through our account with the Columbus Foundation.
